Babysitting Bizzy and Boris

We had the privilege of babysitting our friend’s (Shelley & Mike) Jack Russell Terriers on Saturday and the girls had an ABSOLUTE blast. Bizzy and Boris got dropped off in the AM and we got to hang out with them the entire day. I’m not sure who loved them more, Sarah Jo or Sammy Jane. Sammy Jane was just thrilled with them and she would walk after them calling, “BiBi” and clapping her hands. When Sarah Jo tried to whistle for them, she did the exact same thing. It was so incredibly cute!! Sheridan just hung out with them and they all three got along beautifully. We took Bizzy and Boris for a walk with Nana and Papa…the girls rode in the wagon, while Sarah Jo walked Bizzy from the wagon with two leashes just to be sure she would not get away (Sarah Jo just loves that dog!!). Mom and I walked Boris and he was so funny…loved to mark every bush along the way….I don’t think Bizzy went potty the entire time on the walk….difference between men and women I guess…girls often don’t even have time to pee…heehee! When naptime rolled around, we first tried to put Bizzy and Boris in their kennels in Sarah Jo’s room, but that just wasn’t close enough. They ended up on the bed with Sarah Jo and I and it was just fine by all of us. I’m not sure that the dogs got as much of a nap as they are used to, because Shelley said they were wore out that evening, but we really enjoyed the puppy energy around here. When I took the girls to church, Jeff said that he had Bizzy on one side of his lap and Boris on the other…just chillin’!! I’ll work him down yet…doubt if I can get two dogs outta him, but one for sure. The BEST news is that now Sarah Jo wants a Jack Russell that is smaller than Bizzy that she can carry around in a purse. Hopefully we are winning her back from the Beagle world to the Jack Russell World….we can do it Shelley, we just have to keep workin’ at it!!
