Daddy is still cool enough!
Judging from the picture that was in the St. Louise Family Bulletin this morning, it appears that Daddy is still cool enough to dance with! The photo was taken at the Father/Daughter Dance last Friday night. So cute! Let’s hope Daddy stays cool enough for a LONG time!

Still snowing!!

SNOW 2012!!
Love it and just getting heavier and heavier! We already made some “snowkids” in the front yard and plan to head back out soon….then will defrost our toes by the fire this afternoon.
Also love the fact that dining room and living room are PAINTED! Thanks mommy and daddy for the help! Now the final room…the kitchen…I’m thinking yellow…got to convince...

That is what I was doing on my way out the doorway from the endocronolgist’s office. All of my thyroid levels are stable and the same as last year, so the doc gave me another year off. So very, very grateful!!!! Might do a few more happy dances today to celebrate this wonderful news!!!!
Perfect Birthday....
Even though our big girl Sarah Jo came home sick from school today….my birthday was perfect. Tons of emails and phone calls from friends far and near…THANK YOU…flowers from NanaK…special dinner at Nana and Papa’s with nothing else but Cherry Chip cake for dessert….and a charm bracelet on order from Jeff and the girls with two little baby shoes one with a June...
Break over too fast....
I cannot believe that our girlies are back to school today…..the two weeks went way too fast! Great Wolf Lodge was a blast, as was all of the Christmas activities. Just missing my girlies today and a bit teary eyed…I like it most when all my little cub bears are home with me. It will be better by the end of the week. Hopefully we can get pictures from our Christmas adventures...

Halloween...how can it be??
Now I’m not certain where October went, but I pretty much think too many late nights with a paint brush in my hand! I “think” I might be done painting until after the holidays, but we will see. The entire house has been done, except the dining/living room and the kitchen. The kitchen will wait, the dining/living room needs to be completed when we get the ceilings redone, but...

In Denial!
Yep, me, I’m in big time denial that both my girlies will be in school this year…Sarah Jo in the first grade at St. Louise and Sam Sam in the 4s class at the preschool at Faith Lutheran. Thank You Sissy......
For the wonderful Las Vegas vacation! We tried sooooo hard to bring back the 107 degrees and the sun along with us behind the plane to Seattle….it didn’t work…but the girls and I are trying hard to hold onto our tans…at least for a little while. From the dinner bell to the large Sonic Cherry Dr. Peppers by the pool, I cannot pick my favorite thing from the get away, other...
On the move....
Since the last post we have been back up to LaConner to go crab hunting on the beach with Nana and Papa, then this past weekend we headed up to the Bellingham area to attend a Jack Russell Terrier trial. You can only imagine 100s of JRTs in one place, racing, barking, jumping obstacles, barking, getting ribbons for being cute, barking…you get the picture. We took Solo along to see her...
Happy 13th!
We headed to the Cove to find some SUN this weekend to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary and Sun Cove did not disappoint! Thanks TOBIN family for letting us “swat”…and thanks Auntie Niki for the oatmeal cookies…seriously those things are dangerous! The girlies in the Kujath family actually have…wait for it…a tan line….yes, impossible in this Seattle...

7 year stats....
Sarah Jo had her 7 year check up today and did great! She weighed in at 45lbs (10-25%) and was 47 inches tall (25-50%). I think she will definitely be taller than mommy and Sam Sam and she is currently only 1 INCH AWAY from the Howling Tornado at Great Wolf Lodge….she is SUPER excited about that! We are going to follow up with a neurologist to figure out why she is still getting...
Leavenworth, moles, bears, oh my......
Our annual resorting trip with Nana and Papa was a bit chillier than in past years, but still a lot of fun. The pool was COLD and we only had a few nice days, but we made the best of it. This summer has not been a hot one anywhere in the state, but we are hoping that August will turn around before we head into the rainy fall again. The destination this year was in the Cascade Mountains about...
7th Birthday Party....a GREAT success!
The sun held out for us and although the girlies were a bit cold in the hose water, they toughed it out and had a great time at Sarah Jo’s birthday party. It was a great day and everyone had a wonderful time. When I asked Sarah Jo what she liked best about it, she told me, every single thing, so I think we can check that off as one great party!

We had an AWESOME time at Sun Cove hanging out with Jeff’s family over the 4th of July. It was sunny and warm, there was swimming, boat riding, LSV (low speed vehicle) driving, demolition derby, and lots and lots of fireworks. The girls also got to spend lots of quality time with their cousins, just hanging out, and catching up! A perfect 4th and we hope to head back that way again before...

Sarah Jo’s teeth are falling out by the day…no top teeth left…another bottom one gone yesterday thanks to Nana who is an expert tooth puller….hopefully that is it for awhile or else the girl is gonna have a hard time eating anything!
One goal accomplished....
One of my goals for the summer was that Sam Sam would be riding her tricycle and Sarah Jo would be riding her bike without training wheels, I think we are pretty darn close to having that one checked off the list. The girls are both well on their way, thanks to the help of Miss Carol, our next door neighbor, who suggested that we take the pedals and training wheels off of Sarah Jo’s bike....

Rv'ing with Nana and Papa...
Yesterday at LaConner….looking for crabs on beautiful Puget Sound. Came home to SUN in Redmond…can’t beat that!
Oh and Friday night, Sarah Jo lost her other top front tooth….looks different, but soooo cute!

Sam Sam, how in the world can it be your 4th birthday already? Seriously little wee one, no idea where those four years went! Did GREAT! Way to go little Solo at your kindergarten show and tell. Enjoying a long weekend and waiting patiently for sun to shine in Seattle…has not happened yet….uuughhh!

Our big girl....
Sarah Jo lost her first front tooth! Nana was in heaven since she got to pull this one out (she didn’t get to the bottoms soon enough). Mommy had a moment….hard to see our big girl missing her front tooth…but she’s so happy, how can you not join in her celebration. Pictures to follow soon! Tooth fairy to visit tonight!
Why does it always feel....
like just ONE MORE vacation day would do the trick?? I’m a little sad our vacation is coming to an end, but we had a blast and are already planning our return trip to Great Wolf Lodge. Sarah Jo only needs to grow two more inches to tackle the Howling Torando and Sam Sam…well she will be growing awhile before moving off the red and yellow slide. That’s OK though, she attacks...

Beautiful flowers, my People Magazine subscription renewed, the girls and daddy joining me at church this evening, and a promise of Starbuck’s coffee in bed in the morning. A PERFECT Mom’s day so far and it is not even Mother’s Day until tomorrow.

Tickets purchased.....
For summer vacation in Las Vegas. It will just be the girls since Daddy has to hold down the fort and work, but I don’t think he is too sad because it could be 115 degrees when we visit in August. Thank goodness Le Le has a pool!
Samantha’s swimming improvement continues, yesterday she jumped off the side at the pool into the water. Still holding my hands, but hey….major...

A MIRACLE!
I am not sure what inspired our AMAZING little swimming lesson this morning at the Bellevue Pool and honestly I am still in a bit of shock, but here is the play by play. As you know, we pulled Samantha out of “formal” swimming lessons back at the end of the December, because she really did not like them. Spring Break has come and gone....
The week went too fast and we are back in the school groove…or trying to get there! The girls went swimming, bowling, and to the beach with Le Le while she was up from Las Vegas…her visit was definitely too short! Is good for the soul!
Life is just cruisin' along....
St. Patty’s Day was a blast…the Leprechauns visited the girls and left a few treats, but did not leave a mess or turn the toilet water green…maybe next year. The sun has shown her beautiful face the last few days…amazing…still cold, but at least not wet. Solo is doing so great…she now sleeps with Sarah Jo every night and at 8pm is following her around in hopes...

Praise God!
Thank you for your continued prayers and positive thoughts, especially this week! We went in to see the endocrinologist yesterday for my 6 month thyroid cancer check up and got wonderful news. My labs looked better than they did last June, so he gave me a year pass and sent me out the door with a reminder not to worry about thyroid stuff for an entire year. We are so very grateful and thankful!...
They hyped it way too much....
So I doubt we will get a single snowflake today as predicted. We shall see!

Well kind of….it stopped and melted, but then we got one last little dump that covered the road and will definitely be a frozen mess by morning. Of course both of the girls have the Protein S Deficiency (Type II) which will make them more prone to blood clots…even though they each had a 50/50 chance, looks like they take after their mommy! Good news is that now we know and I feel much better about putting our little baby Sam Sam through her first and hopefully last for a very long time needle poke! The girl is STILL upset about it...
