Snowed in and gearing up for another round!

We had at least 8 inches of snow on Thursday/Friday and not one inch of it has melted because it is freezing outside!! The girls have enjoyed sledding, playing, and eating the snow (especially Samantha). They have had a BLAST and it definitely makes it feel “a lot like Christmas”! What I’m not looking forward to is the possibility of high winds tonight…aka…power outages. The last power outage from winds like these were in December of 2006 (I was pregnant with Samantha) and we were without electricity for a week. Jeff headed downtown this morning for those “last few supplies” and the Chevron station was already out of gas. Hopefully since everyone is preparing, the storm won’t have any punch. At least that is what we are hoping for, but the first phase is hitting us right on time, so we will just keep our fingers crossed to be outta the way of the winds. It started snowing again around 4pm and is still going strong.
