Zoo Field Trip Aborted…

I was planning on updating the blog this afternoon with pictures from our zoo field trip, but poor Sarah Jo started to not feel well last night. This morning her stomach got worse and by the time I pulled into the school parking lot, she was not even sitting upright in her carseat. My “mom’s instinct” told me that I DID NOT want to be stuck at the zoo today with a sick kid and no bathroom in sight, so after talking with her teachers we decided to abort the mission and head home. Our baby girl in now laying on the couch watching TV and is still hoping to make it over to daddy’s office to have lunch with him since we were all hoping to have lunch together at the zoo this afternoon. We promised her that we would find a day soon to get to the zoo and check out the cheetah, I’m thinking maybe mom’s day with all the other (crazy??) mom’s who think that might be a fun idea.
