Perfect Mom’s Day Weekend…

We had a GREAT weekend and the beautiful weather added to the fun. On Friday night we helped Sarah Jo’s little friend from preschool celebrate his 5th birthday. The girls had a blast as did we!
On Saturday, Jeff worked on his “honey-do list” while my parents helped me spruce up the front yard with some new fertile mulch. Everything looks amazing and we are off to spruce up Nana and Papa’s yard when the sun returns this weekend. Jeff got about half-way through his list and will hopefully continue to work on it for me the next few Saturdays. I never knew my man was a plumber, but within the past week he has fixed a leaking kitchen faucet, installed a new water filter dispenser in the kitchen, and fixed a backyard faucet. Watch out plumbers, if technology goes down the tube, Jeff is comin’ your way!
Sunday morning brought breakfast prepared by my wonderful hubby for my mom and I, flowers, cards, and lots of love from the girls. Afterwards we went to the little farm to check on Dottie the pig who is having another set of piglets soon (we’ll keep you posted…no babies yet), then a quick ice cream trip. A long nap and steak dinner wrapped up the evening…perfect!
