We survived the Great Wolf Lodge…..

Some of us came away from the adventure better than others, but I am happy to report that we all survived. My dad was a CRAZY man and went down water slide, after water slide and woke up the next morning a little stiff, but back at the slides again after a little coffee and loosening up. I, on the otherhand, am still recovering a week later from a stiff neck. Mid-week I woke up around 3:30AM and literally could not move. I could not even roll over to wake Jeff up to help me up. Somehow I managed to roll out of the bed and head downstairs to get some high power meds that I used for my hip to see if they might help me move my neck again. They worked somewhat, but dang, I’m still sore. Even Aunt Le Le faired way better than me….so age is obviously not to blame…heehee! I blame it on the fact that on every ride, everyone put me in the front because “I’m the littlest”, that might have to change next time!
The girls have their big birthday party at the gym this afternoon and we are expecting around 18 kids there. It should be a blast and we will be sure to update the blog with pictures.
Sarah insists that she is 5 today and at first I was trying to explain to her that her birthday is not until July, but after some thought, why not let her be 5 today. She’d already had over a week of partying at Great Wolf Lodge, cupcakes at school, and an upcoming party. Why not be 5 today, it sounds exciting to me!!!
