Last Day of School and bad toe!

Sarah Jo had her last day of school in her Pre-K class at Faith Lutheran on Thursday. Daddy took the day off and was able to attend the celebration. I love, love, love the video he created because it perfectly captures our little Sarah Jo’s personality on film. Within 2 hours of being home from school, we were at the doctor’s office getting butterfly stitches on Sarah Jo’s pinkie toe. Her and her friend Trace, got out of school and headed to our house to build a fort in the family room. Sarah Jo decided lift up an end table (even though daddy and I have told her many times not to because they are too heavy) and accidently dropped it on her toe???? basically ripping her entire pinkie toenail off. Thank goodness sweet Trace was here to distract her because at one point she was yelling, "I can’t take the pain anymore!!!". After a long day, some good bandaging by Dr. Wen, and a hefty dose of Tylenol, we were doing better. She hopes to be able to participate in her gymnastic show tomorrow afternoon, we’ll keep you posted!
