Summer is FINALLY HERE!

Summer has finally arrived! School got out on Friday and Nana Bohm is home for the summer. The long 4th of July weekend is right around the corner, as is our weeklong RV’ing trip to Spokane in mid-July. When we return we will be celebrating Sarah Jo’s 2nd birthday (don’t talk to me about it, I’m tearing up already!) and August brings lots of other events and visits from cousins, etc. The only thing that I’m really concerned about is waking up and realizing that it is late-August and the return to school is right around the corner. I’m not going to think about that now, just try and enjoy every day as it comes.
Sarah Jo is talking up a storm. She tells us her name “arah”, but last night daddy taught her how to make the Ssss sound. She just can’t put it together with “arah” yet, but she is getting there. Yesterday she did a great job telling us when she went poop and pee in her diaper. My mom says that we are going to work on potty training this summer, I’m all for it if she is really ready. We went to West Seattle for a Father’s Day breakfast yesterday and saw Diddle Dee, MeMe and LuLu. Sarah Jo had a blast!
She never stops amazing us and I don’t think we will be able to get a word in edgewise once all the gabber becomes real words. The adventure continues and we are enjoying every minute. Drop us a line when you get a chance, we would love to hear from you!
