6 days down, one to go….

Or according to Jeff this morning “only” 3 more low iodine meals! I’m doing OK, but very thankful this is the last day of basically not eating. The tests have all been uneventful so far, mostly blood work, injections, and a radioactive tracer. Tomorrow morning at 7:30 I will have my final scan, but have been told that I will not know any results until I meet with my endocronologist next Wednesday, July 1st. It’s been a tough week, the girls have had a hard time, but thanks to everyone who has pitched in (Nana & Papa, NanaK, Uncle Sam, Miss Katie, and everyone else I’m missing). Also a very HUGE thank you to all of our prayer warriors out there, whenever I thought I could not do one more meal of plain rice and 1/4 cup of pork chops, I made it through, thanks to you. Last but not least, thanks to my wonderful hubby who has come with me to Swedish Hospital each morning this past week, you’re the best.
Please continue to pray that we get only good news next Wednesday. I’ll keep you posted!
