Our doctor visit today….

Samantha Jane went in for her 2 month check up today. Since my parents are outta town, we told Sarah Jo she needed to come with us to hold her baby sister’s hand since she was getting four shots. They both did great! Samantha Jane weighed in at 10lbs., 3 oz (25-50%) and is 22 3/4 inches long (50%). The doctor said she is developmentally right on track, is healthy, and is a great little kid! Sarah Jo broke down a bit and started to cry when her baby sister started to cry after she got her shots, but we got them both calmed down before we left the room which was a major accomplishment I think!
We have kept busy the past week with swimming lessons, gymnastics class, a trip to the Pacific Science Center, and a trip to the zoo. It works best to keep Sarah Jo on the move and Samantha Jane just goes along for the ride. It reminds me of my sister and I. Aunt Le Le was over last night and her and Sarah Jo were out golfing in the backyard (Melissa is going to get a golfing buddy yet!) and then we went downtown to get a little ice cream. We somehow ended up at Target at 9:30 at night. My sissy is so convincing that you just can’t say no to her even though you know you should be home in bed. It is great though because Sarah Jo definitely gives her a run for her money, I love it!
