9 Month Stats and startin’ to cruise…

We took Samantha Jane in for her 9 month check up today and here are her stats:
- 15lbs. 7oz (remains in 3% for weight)
- 27 inches (remains in 25% for height)
- 44 3/4 cm head circumference (75%)
She is hitting all of her developmental goals and the doctor told us that she is a healthy, beautiful baby! Pulling herself to standing and desperately trying to cruise the furniture to keep up with her big sister has been what she has been working on this week. This morning, Sarah Jo was attempting to carry Samantha somewhere and I asked what she was doing. She said "Amantha got in my things and now she has to stand in the corner for 10 seconds!". All of you out there with an older sibling can appreciate this story and in fact when I called my big sis to tell her, she just laughed, still no sympathy, even now! It is amazing how close the girls are tracking in size. At 9 months, Sarah Jo weighed 14lbs. 1oz. and was 26 1/2 inches long. It would destroy Sarah Jo if her little sissy actually ends up being taller than her. Only time will tell. For now, I’m just thankful for two beautiful healthy little girls!
