Of course both of the girls have the Protein S Deficiency (Type II) which will make them more prone to blood clots…even though they each had a 50/50 chance, looks like they take after their mommy!  Good news is that now we know and I feel much better about putting our little baby Sam Sam through her first and hopefully last for a very long time needle poke!  The girl is STILL upset about it and believe me she has reminded me more than once that she will not be doing that again! Hopefully we will avoid any broken bones and surgeries and it will become a moot point until the girls get to childbearing age (good Lord I don’t want to think about that yet).

Sarah Jo has 7 1/2 more days until Christmas Break and I’m totally, completely done with Xmas shopping. Good thing too because after heading to Target yesterday for some last minute items for Sarah Jo’s class, I swore off Target until after Christmas is over!  That place was a MADHOUSE!!!  Sarah Jo has another gymnastics show on Friday (she has two last week in Seattle), we have the Santa train on Saturday morning, and a Christmas performance at school next week…will be glad when we are all settled in for our long winter’s nap.  Daddy is attempting to get a few days off after Christmas, we’ll see how the next two weekends go with the final push of the building move.  Sam Sam is doing awesome at potty training and there is a possibility that we will be celebrating with a “potty training dinner” in which dessert is eaten before any dinner over the holiday break.  I’m SO VERY HOPEFUL that she is ready to push through the last leg…this week has been going awesome so far…but crazy enough 3 year olds seem to have a mind of their own…go figure!!
